About Us
Department of commerce of Sunbeam College for Women established in the year 2000, being a millennium department always strive for academic excellence. The commerce department runs UG programme as Bachelor of Commerce. Whereas the department has twelve (12) well qualified teachers. Amongst these faculty members nine (9) are awarded with PhD degree. The department has registered cent percent result since its inception. However, students from commerce department successfully finds place in university merit list and gold medal in many occasions. During the year the academic calendar strictly adhere and the admissions, teaching and examination for various classes were held on time. The alumnus of this department successfully placed in reputed corporates and Govt. sectors as well. The department also organizes campus placement drive for final year students. Companies like IBM, Concentrix, TCS, GE Capital, Decathlon etc. are our major recruiters.
